First Responders/Rescue

Thank You to all who supported fundraising efforts last year.  We were able to raise sufficient money to purchase four jump kits for our licensed members to have on hand.  This will hopefully allow for quicker response times so we can reach patients more directly.

Newburgh Rescue is currently working towards raising $6,000 for the purchase of AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) for our members to have on hand.  We will be having various fundraisers throughout the year.

Newburgh Rescue has continued to provide Newburgh area residents with First Responder Emergency Services. Monthly training topics have included vehicular entrapment and extrication, hazmat, and annual updated training. We have a dedicated group of individuals but we can always use more help. We are in need of new members including EMTs, First Responders and drivers. If you are interested in joining the squad, please contact any members of the rescue squad or the town office for more information or join us at one of our monthly training meetings at 6:30 p.m. the fourth Thursday of the month at the Fire Department offices.
